WHO WE ARE

Shortly About Us

Therapist, Adult Diversity Learner, Recovery Warrior: Therapy works. As an adult diversity learner and person in recovery, I know firsthand the power of embracing vulnerability and self-discovery. For over 7 years, I’ve witnessed countless clients, from diverse backgrounds to those struggling with developmental disabilities or behavioral health issues, rewrite their narratives and transform their lives.

At Holloway Counseling, we offer heart-centered, solution-focused therapy with a unique blend of somatic practices and an existential foundation. We delve into your story, and your narrative and look to help you with learning to live with change. The chances that have happened and chances that are happening. The difference is we can help you heal, breathe, align, and thrive. Let’s get going!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Offer a Free Consultation?

Yes.
You’re welcome to a free 15-minute phone or virtual consultation. This gives us a chance to meet, see if we’re a good fit, and make sure I’m the right person for what you’re dealing with.
You can ask anything. I’ll ask a few questions too. No pressure — just clarity.

How Can I Request an Appointment?

You can request a new appointment through the contact form on this site.
Reach out. We’ll take it from there.

How Much Does Therapy Cost?

The cost depends on whether you’re using insurance or paying privately.
If you’re paying out of pocket, I’m transparent about fees and expectations. If you’re using insurance, your cost depends on your specific plan.
If you’re unsure, ask. We’ll figure it out together.

What Type of Insurance Do You Take?

I work with select insurance plans and also offer private pay options.
If you have questions about your specific coverage, reach out. It’s better to clarify upfront than guess.

What Can I Expect to Get From Therapy?

That depends on why you’re here.
Most of the men I work with want:

  • Clarity around a specific issue
  • To break a cycle they’re stuck in
  • Better communication in relationships
  • Relief from anxiety, depression, or stress
  • A way to feel more steady under pressure

You won’t just vent. You’ll learn how to respond instead of react.
You’ll learn to step back into your drama without becoming your trauma.
The goal is forward movement.

What Kind of Therapy Services Do You Offer?

Therapy Services
  • Individual Therapy

Treatment Specializations
  • Depression
  • Chronic Pain
  • Anxiety

Treatment Approaches
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Somatic Psychotherapy
  • Transformative Touch Therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

This isn’t one-size-fits-all therapy. We use what works.

How Long Does It Take to See Improvement?

It varies.
Some people feel relief after the first session. For others, change builds over time.
We set goals early. We track progress. You’ll know whether the work is moving.

How Do I Know If We’re a Good Match?

The consultation helps.
You should feel heard. Challenged in a good way. Clear about direction.
If it feels off, that’s okay too. Fit matters.
